How we BUY and SELL our Land Rovers

Buying a good second hand Land Rover can be difficult and its easy to get distracted by shiny paintwork and smooth talk.

We source our Land Rovers from various sellers both trade and private.

We look for overall good examples and then gently improve on them to bring them up to a condition, which in our experience, you will find well above average. Of the many Land Rovers we are offered and view, we purchase only a small number.

Selling Our Land Rovers – “from diff-lock to door lock”….

We are really quite fussy about the trucks we buy, but we are even fussier about how we then go on to sell them.

A lot of time and effort goes into selecting and preparing our Land Rovers. You know as well as we do, that you can buy similar vehicles to those we are retailing for less money. But you also know, as we do, the cost of buying a ‘pup’.

Having bought a truck, it will come back to our workshop and be given a full appraisal – we make no compromise and it’s this attitude – coupled with our enthusiasm – that ensures our reputation and ensures that you get the right Land Rover.

Having undertaken an initial inspection we will normally give the truck a general tidy up and then place it on our website for viewing. None of our Land Rovers are ready to ‘walk out the door’ so if you want something today – it’s not possible, however if you can wait a week or two then anything is possible.

When you come to look at one of our Land Rovers, we will spend as much time as you want; talking about, driving around in and generally inspecting the truck.

We will generate a list of works to be done, price and agree any additional works you require or accessories you might want to add. We are simple and easy people. Whether you buy a truck from us, or not, we will make sure that you feel comfortable and at ease. We are here and in business for YOU – our customers!

Every one of our retail Land Rovers is subject to unequalled preparation. We have an in-house inspection checklist which covers every aspect of your Land Rover from door-lock to diff-lock.

Each truck is given a man and each man is responsible for preparing his own truck. We check and service over 230 separate generic and specific points. Separate QA is undertaken by someone other than the person who prepared the vehicle. We will pick out 30 or so random items and double check the workmanship. All the usual service items are replaced including fuel, air and oil filters. Timing belts and timing belt tensioners are always replaced.

Every one of our Land Rovers is provided with 12 months MOT and 6 months road tax.
